Reduction-Fired Pillar Candle Holder by SZ Ceramics
Handmade by SZ Ceramics in East London, this large candle holder has been formed from a buff clay which is then fired in a gas kiln to create a rust red & grey finish. The high temperatures in the gas kiln and lack of oxygen allow the glaze to create unique finishes in the finished colour. Designed to fit an 8cm pillar candle.

We’re big fans of a functional ceramic and love how everything Emma of SZ Ceramics makes is clearly well-used and loved in her own home wether dining in with friends or having a cosy candle-lit evening on the sofa with her cat Frida. What really drew us to her work are the unexpected playful touches such as a wavy rim or pop of cobalt blue.
